Standing behind the work
A 3-Year workmanship warranty, in writing
The warranty is part of your contract, not a slogan. Here is what it covers, what it does not, and how a claim works.
What you get
Every REO Partner project includes a 3-Year workmanship warranty from the date of completion, written into the contract you sign. If something we built fails because of how we built it, we come back and make it right.
Workmanship versus products
A buildout has two kinds of potential failure, and they are covered by different promises:
- Workmanship is ours. Installation, waterproofing behind tile, carpentry, paint preparation, alignment: if the failure traces to how the work was done, our warranty answers for it.
- Products carry their manufacturers' warranties: HVAC equipment, light fixtures, doors and hardware, plumbing fixtures and flooring each have their own terms. We register or hand over those documents at closeout, and if a product fails inside its warranty we help you pursue the claim.
What the warranty does not cover
- Normal wear and tear, and cosmetic changes from ordinary use.
- Damage from storms, flooding, settling of the structure, or anything else outside the work we performed. In a hurricane state that distinction matters, and it is written plainly in the contract.
- Work performed by others, or changes made to our work after completion.
Why we can afford to say this in writing
Warranty claims are expensive for a contractor who builds carelessly. Our answer is the way the work is run: moisture-rated materials where Florida humidity demands them, waterproofing done to the manufacturer's specification, inspections closed out properly, and a walkthrough with you before we call a job finished. For a business, a warranty call also means working around your hours, and we schedule service visits the same way we schedule construction: around your operation. The warranty is priced into doing it right the first time.
Plain-language summary, not the contract. This page explains how the warranty works in ordinary words. The warranty terms in your signed contract are the ones that govern.
Warranty questions
How long is the warranty?
3-Year on our workmanship, in writing, from the date the project is completed.
What does a workmanship warranty cover?
Defects in how the work was performed: for example tile that was set wrong, a door we hung that will not stay aligned, or paint we applied that fails. The exact coverage is written into your contract so there is no arguing from memory later.
What is not covered?
Normal wear, damage from misuse or from events like storms and floods, and product failures that fall under a manufacturer's own warranty. When a product fails inside its manufacturer warranty we help you make that claim.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Contact us, describe the issue and send a photo if you can. Because the scope of every project is in writing, confirming coverage is quick.
